First Friday Nature Walk

Join a naturalist at the Frick Environmental Center for a relaxed hike through the woods. Take an hour out of your Friday to visit your park!  This hike is designed for park pals ages 50+. It's not designed to be strenuous, but Pittsburgh is a hilly place so there will be some ups and downs. Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.

Celebrate Earth Day With UPMC Health Plan and 412 Food Rescue

UPMC Health Plan is participating in in Earth Day activities in Pittsburgh's Market Square during the city-wide celebration on Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Just look for the big purple mobile van. 412 Food Rescue will be at the UPMC Health Plan booth from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday whipping up fresh, healthy snacks for you to sample. Attendees can chat with knowledgeable staff about high-quality health insurance plans and services, and pick up recipes, giveaways, and health and wellness resources. Join us for a free yoga class every Saturday with instructor Lauren Stoner. This therapeutic based session uses movement and meditation to heal mind, body and spirit. Once a month we will also offer art or dance therapy sessions provided by Fine Art Miracles. The location of this class is one one flight of stairs.
