New for 2019, Health and Wellness Fairs in Market Square bring local providers of lifestyle goods and services together for a weekly market in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh. Free samples, giveaways, fitness opportunities, and raffles will be on hand each week from various vendors and exhibitors.
Every Sunday in June, the Senator John Heinz History Center will offer free admission to all kids age 17 and under, thanks to UPMC! Visitors can peer into the cockpit of a 48-foot Huey helicopter at the museum’s newest exhibition, The Vietnam War: 1945-1975. Enjoy the History Center’s six floors of award-winning exhibitions and interactive learning spaces, including Kidsburgh play zone, the UPMC SmartSteps, the western Pennsylvania Sports Museum, Discovery Place, the original Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood set and puppets, and more! This offer is open to the general public and UPMC Health Plan member ID card is not required.
