Walking for thirty minutes every day in nature is linked to lowered blood pressure, elevated moods, and reduced cases of heart disease. Get fit and active on the trails around the Frick Environmental Center. All are welcome, and hike pace is determined by the hike leader based on the group. This hike is designed for park pals ages 50+. It's not designed to be strenuous, but Pittsburgh is a hilly place so there will be some ups and downs. Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.

Some flowers receive important services from the animals they feed - in exchange for food their seeds get carried to new places. Gateway Center and Market Square Walking Tour (Downtown Pittsburgh)

Tuesday, May 21, 2019   Noon to 2:00 p.m.     Separated by a few short blocks––but miles apart in design philosophy––Gateway Center and Market Square reveal two different approaches to urban renewal in Downtown Pittsburgh.
