Meet us at the UPMC Health Plan Connect Center in Berkshire Mall and let’s Walk for Your Wellness. Join us to participate in our free mall walking program. Bring your friends, family, and loved ones. Members can get preventive screenings and take part in fun activities.

Zoo Walks at Pittsburgh Zoo

It’s time for Zoo Walks! Join us at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium on the dates listed below for Zoo Walks! UPMC for Life members and one guest receive complimentary admission to the Zoo on these dates. Take advantage of special member-only activities, walk at your own pace, and enjoy the Zoo before it opens. To receive complimentary admission, meet us at the front gate of the zoo between 8 and 10 a.m. UPMC for Life will provide water to all participants. All walkers must arrive and enter before 10 a.m. to receive no-cost admission. After the walk, members can stay at the zoo to enjoy the exhibits.

Dancing in the Sqaure

Dancing in the Square is presented by USA Dance Pittsburgh in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership. Join us to get your weekend moving as you learn exciting new and traditional dances in the heart of Pittsburgh. Classes are free, don’t require a partner, and are followed up perfectly with dinner in Downtown.

Butler Italian Festival

Located at Butler, PA on Main St. downtown (from Jefferson St. to Brady St.) Enjoy food, fun, and family time at the Butler Italian Festival! With three days of delicious food vendors, games, rides, and entertainment, it’s the perfect way to wrap up a fantastic summer season. Admission, parking, and most shows are free. Stop by the UPMC Health Plan mobile van and pick up informative health and wellness resources and fun giveaways. UPMC Health Plan will also be offering FREE blood pressure screenings and height-and-weight checks to the public.

Run Around the Square

Most of the first mile of the 5K winds through Regent Square streets with plenty of warm, friendly cheers. The remainder of the race is through Frick Park’s cross-country trails, with the final stretch heading down the Falls Ravine Trail and ending in Fern Hollow. The 1.5 Mile Run/Walk takes place on the charming streets of Regent Square. The family dog can also join in on the fun. Dogs may be registered for ONLY the 1.5 Mile Run/Walk.
