Cycle Check Ups 2019

To celebrate National Bike to Work Day, Hotel Monaco has partnered with Healthy Ride PGH to offer FREE express bike tune-ups while you wait for anyone that rides by from 11am-5pm. Healthy Ride will also be on-site to answer any bike related questions and hand out some free ride codes.

Museums are places for renewal, celebrating the great accomplishments of people and cultures. Instructor Stefanie Zito emphasizes stretching and relaxation for an energizing boost headed into the weekend. Sessions take place Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Class sessions are open to all levels and to ages 18 and over. Please bring a mat. All classes are drop-in; no online pre-registration is available. A 10-class pass can be purchased at the door for $75, $50 for members and students.

Third Friday Fitness Hike

Walking for thirty minutes every day in nature is linked to lowered blood pressure, elevated moods, and reduced cases of heart disease. Get fit and active on the trails around the Frick Environmental Center. All are welcome, and hike pace is determined by the hike leader based on the group. This hike is designed for park pals ages 50+. It's not designed to be strenuous, but Pittsburgh is a hilly place so there will be some ups and downs. Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.

Free Friday Walking Tours: Upper Penn-Liberty

There is much to admire on this relatively short walk along Penn and Liberty avenues between Ninth and Tenth streets in Downtown Pittsburgh, including the August Wilson Cultural Center, David L. Lawrence Convention Center, and Pennsylvanian (formerly, Union Station).
